.:Introduction:.
Dear visitor or member,
Welcome to the Guide to PIForums.
This guide should give you an idea on my (pika2000) concept and the aims I wanted to reach by creating these forums.

The idea of creating my forums escaped me some time ago, so I finally did it.
I didn't have all concepts in mind at that time, I just created the forum out of the wish of having fun running a forum and my big interest in learning languages.
The more members joined, the more I wanted to comfort them.
It was fun talking to Pokémon-Fans from other countries and I wanted to make the forums better and better.

.:PI's Aims & Concept:.
The concept of the Poké-International Forums (or PIForums for short) is providing members with the ability to talk in the language they want, but also to help them improve their knowledge in other languages.
Basically PIForums should be a forum for everyone, that's why it's working like that.
I don't want members to be turned away just because they don't speak English or German (in which most forums I know happen to be) properely, they should come here and try it out- and maybe improve.
A forum-goer as I am I've seen a lot of things on other forums I just couldn't agree with.
That's what I'm trying to make better.
I've seen alot of forums where free opinions (especially the ones concerning the forums) kinda weren't allowed and just got deleted or hidden from public.
I want members to feel free to tell me their opinion about the forums whenever they can give me a good explanation.
I want to create a family atmosphere, where every member is listened to and every suggestion is taken into consideration.
Members shouldn't be afraid of doing something wrong or making a simple suggestion.
The forums should be able to work without rules, which didn't happen by now, but might probably work out in near future.
Everybody should fell comfortable and finally everbody should be treated the same way.
I've seem forums where staff members had a lot more rights than the "normal members".
It shouldn't be that way.
All members should be at the same level and be treated with the same amount of respect by EVERYONE.

.:Finally:.
Well, that's what my general idea has been all the time working with the forums.
I always put my aims higher to create a community where everyone is respecting each other and his/her opinions.

Time by time I got some staff members to help me out.
They help me a lot with reaching my aims and: they have the same aims too, finally.
But not only the staff members are helping these forums, it's actually the members who do most of the stuff.
Look, they keep the forums active and they interact.
They have ideas making the forums better.

Every guest/member/staff member is making this what it is.

And never forget: Everybody is welcome here!
