Yes, this is version 100000 of this thread and I pester you with it again 8)

Anyway:
Well we need more members.
We recently got a lot of staff and they go online a lot (which is fine of course), but how come they are the only people online?

There might me a few normal members on sometimes, but it's just looking weird to see that there are only staff members online all the time....

Oh yes, what do I want you to do?
I want you to help me making this place mroe well known.
How?
Ask your friends to join, put this in your sig at other forums, advertise (only if it's allowed) etc. etc.

Ok, no disrespect but...first of all, if they wanted to do that, they would already with all the referring contest hanging around. The thing is...you gotto make this place a little more interesting than just...discussing about Pokemon and stuff, something that makes people value the site and willing to advertise it to make it stronger. I'm trying to make it more interesting, but unluckily, people hardly ever tell me what they want here.
They don't even reply to the annoucements.

You Could try Installing RPG Inferno LITE, since it's Free (Sorry don't have link, try searching Google) it'd make the forum more interesting also try to edit it to make it Pokemon Based. Or you Could try buying a domain (.co.uk, .com etc) More people visit .com sites because they know they'll be come more popular, a forum with a pretty big url isn't going to be bothered with, (since hardly any people will find it in the first place) and since the site is the main part of the forum, (a forum won't become popular without a site) you should focus more on the site than the forum. ;) Search engines hardly do anything, so don't think they'll get you the most members. Personally i think there's already too many PKMN forum's out there. Such as Serebii or Pokecommunity so that might also be the problem.

I'll try and do my part by advertising as well, but I'm guessing this forum was a lot more active than it is right now.

Most users ever online was 129, 11-20-2004 at 01:26 AM.

I don't know what happened to all those people but I think the problem isn't getting more members, it's being able to keep them from leaving.

I have to disappoint you, but that number is, well...kinda fake.
I regged at a kind of vistor exchange service in hope to get more members.
All what happened where a lot of online users which didn't look at the forums at all.
That's how we got the 129 online users.

Sorry to D-Post, but i've thought up a good idea, i could ask my friend to put this forum through ad-blaster, what it does is submit's the forum to over 20 search engines, and send's the email to 100 email address' with one of the keyword's in their email address, my friend did it and in two day's we were submitted to every search engine, i'll ask him tomorrow to put you through ad-blaster and to prove it work's go to these link's:

Yes, it is possible. It's just a installable hack like the Ushop, But be sure to Make backup of the forum's before you install it. The 129 Online thing could also be result of Search Engine 'Spiders', they like to refresh the page a lot so that could be why.
EDIT: Btw while i'm posting i might as well say, i found a error in the Store.

The hack is for 3.0.3 or something.
Since I'm going to upgrade to 3.5 when Gold comes out, it would be a waste of time to have it installed for such a short time.

I'm 100% sure that the 129 people online thing was caused by the hitexchange.

I've seen the error too.
Seems like something with changing the prices must have gone wrong.
It worked before that.

I also emailed the member's of a dead Invisionfree forum i own, just now, good thing is someone's joined (check my referals) i spent it on a blue name :P and there was 127 member's on the IF forum. X_X. Hopefully more will join.
