Yep, if you read the title you have figured that the most anticipated game of 2005, The Legend of Zelda: Twighlight Princess has been delayed in it's release date which was thought to be October and November of this year.. Nintendo said, that they ore delaying it to make "Further improvements" to the game.
The new release date hasn't been said yet, but itwill be after March 2006, Nintendo will tell people another relase date at a later time.
The game is still going to be a Gamecube release even though next year will mark the release of the "Nintendo Revolution"... but with it's backwards compatability to the Gamecube games.. means you will still be able to play it on that... the game is still coming out for the Cube because Nintendo said "We feel a commitment to the Gamecube owners who've been patiently awaiting this new Zelda title, and don't want to force them to wait and buy a brand new system in order to play the game."
Kaplan has also dismissed the thoughts that this will effect Nintendo because they won't have a major release title for the holiday being as the XBOX 360 will be out for purchase in November..
The reason this was dismissed is because of the 3rd party games like Betallion Wars, Mario Baseball and other games that are due for release this year.. and ofcourse Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.
