Here are the rules and guidelines for RPGing.
Before you decide to create one, check the RPG advice thread.
1. Stay on topic
2. No flaming or bashing
3. No SPAM
4. Make your posts lengthy, not just one or two sentences. Your post must at LEAST be two paragraphs or longer. [the 2 paragraph limit will not be strictly enforced, just more than 4 sentances]
5. Use proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.
6. No scripting. Which is doing this:

7. Don't use smilies in place of names or emotions. Only use them to help emphasize what you are trying to say. (you shouldn't need them in the first place)
8. If you are doing a mature RPG, which includes violence, gore, or sexual preferences, then you must have a warning label (both in the thread and title). Anything that goes to far will be dealt with accordingly.
9. No copying/stealing other's RPGs
10. You can't have more than 3 RPGs going on at once. It's very hard to keep track of and control all of the RPGs so I'm going to have to set a limit.
11. Only non-Pokemon RPGs are allowed in this forum. we have a pokemon RPG forum.
SIGN UPS!
Before you start an RPG, you'll have to have a sign up. So make a thread for Sign Ups then after you have all that you need make the thread for the actual RPG.
Here's how you do sign ups.

Gender:
Description:
Personality:
History:
Species: If they have one.
You may also be turned down from an RPG by the creator if they feel that you do not suit the story. If you are then that's okay, there are plenty of other RPGs out there. Also, the creator can close the sign-up if they have all that they need and let no more people sign-up.
RPG Terms
OOC - An abbriviation standing for 'Out Of Character'. It is sometimes placed before text when a person is explaining things outside of the RPG itself.
BIC - Stands for Back In Character, and may proceed an OOC post.
Uber - Someone who acts out their character as unbeatable, invincible, or able to claim victory with little effort. Never be an Uber. It's bad.
Game Master - The person who created and owns the RPG.
Twink - A Twink is someone who acts too immature.
LSU - Late Sign Ups. Sometimes you will be allowed to sign up for an RPG even if it has started.
NPC - Stands for Non Participating Character. A character that has been created up to perform a task or job in a RPG.
Bunnying - To bunny, is to take control of somone's character and not play them properly. You'd go outside of their personality and make them do things that they normally wouldn't. If it is done too much then please report it and the problem will be solved.
I urge you to report any infractions that you see in the rules, so that they can be handled before it gets to much out of control.
