*Beware of spoilers* Well not by me, but someone is bound to say something.
I finished the latest book, like a week ago, it was great. I stayed up all night reading (then had to get up early for work >_<) This is by far my favorite one, I dunno why (no wait...yes I do), but I just liked it. I'm kind of mad that I finished reading it so fast, seeing as now I have to wait for the next book *sighs* I like Tonks, she's my new favorite character, she's the most original, IMO, hopefully we'll se more of her in the next book. Wotcher, anyone else read the book yet?

The new proffesor was named slughorn, remember the slug club :p I'm going back through all of the other books to see if there is anybody with those initials. I was surprised that Snape was
the half blood prince
I thought that it was Voldemort because, well his dad was rich and well-known, and whatnot. I miss Dumbledore =/ he was like, one of the best wizards ever, now Voldemort has no one to fear. Harry is strong, but come one, he can't take Voldemort on now.

I read it. Finshed it in two days @_@;;
I think it was really good. ^^
I think RAB may be...
Sirius's brother. They did have a locket in his house in the 5th book. From what I read in other places, they think it may be him too. ^^;
And...
I can't belive they killed Dumbledore T_T! It was really sad. It makes me so confused... who's side is Snape on? @_@ Can't believe he was the half-blood Prince either. I didn't think he was a half-blood. I thought it was Voldemort for awhile too, because he seems to have that kind of attitude to call himself a prince.
yay for spoiler tags XD

I think that Rowling has already anticipated that and she purposely made all the clues point to him, so that when the time came to reveal him/her, we'd all still be in the dark XD

hmmm.... I don't really have a favorite character. I felt a little sorry for Malfloy, but I still don't like him. maybe shes trying to lead everyone in the wrong direction with who RAB is? I expect she'd know people would guess that, but could she really just do that?
I hope he isn't acctually dead, I mean come on, its magic right?

Rowling's a literary genius :) with all the things she's done with Harry Potter, I'm pretty sure that she's capable of surprising us, just like she did with Snape being the Half Blood Prince. I mean the whole time the book mainly focuses on Voldemort, his life, his life at hogwarts, his origin, how he came to be who he is, then we see a book that was used around his time, which seems to have a collection of remarkable spells and tips on mastering potions and different things, and what happens? We see that Snape is the Half Blood Prince. Yeah, she could really do just that :p
Dumbledore's gone, remember how his picture appeared on the wall along with all the other past masters of hogwarts, in Professor Mcgonagal's office ;) I doubt, that-that would just happened. Remember magic is powerful, but so is age, and in this book it showed that Dumbledore's age was starting to get the best of him. Sadly.

that brings up another thing...
would dumbledore still be able to help harry by speaking to him in the portrait??? if so he could tell Harry everything he knows and help harry find the remaining Horcruxes???

I was wondering about that... probably not though. But you'd think they'd have some sort of fake-death spell.... come on couldn't they kill Harry instead? He's totally useless to the story...

That portrait of Dumbledore will come in handy, he'll definitely need that, even if he's not there in person. Dude :p Harry's the main character, he's the only one who can kill Voldermort, and remember the Death Eaters aren't to touch Harry, since he "Belongs to the ark Master" as Snape said, when the two death eaters were about to do Harry in. I think that they, seriously, wanted Dumbledore dead, he was to strong of a wizard (even if he did get killed) and posed a great threat, despite his age. It would've helped if he had taught Harry some spells or something =/
